These four Silestone grey colours are sure to catch the eye

In recent years the trend for white kitchens and black kitchens has been well known, but at Cosentino we believe that between black and white there is a wide range of shades of grey colours.  A variety of hues such as stone grey, cement grey or pearl grey are preferred when looking to create modern, minimalist and calm spaces in which urban and Nordic styles merge.

That is why Silestone is launching the new Urban Crush collection, which draws its inspiration from the different textures around the city. Materials such as concrete, limestone, bronze and ash form the basis of four new colours in different shades of grey that are sure to revolutionise homes as well as commercial and hospitality spaces.

This collection has been designed for lovers of urban spaces with hints of industrial style. Silestone allows you to enjoy your interiors, playing creatively with Urban Crush tones to match them with bright colours, textures and eclectic touches.

Break out of black and white with these four shades of grey

Silestone comes in four new colours in the grey range, with different textures inspired by the big city life.

  • The grey tone of Concrete Pulse is perfect for eclectic interiors, adding a vibrant contrasting effect. This natural grey shade looks great in both light and shadow. It is the best backdrop to complement with eye-catching accessories and highlight details.
For a memorable design, use eclectic combinations of textured glass and voluminous fabrics.

  • The textured beige tones of Lime Delight provide a versatile background for any interior design, from calm and pure spaces to more unusual environments. Its warm, bright tones evoke the glow of the famous Marbella limestone. A bold mix of vibrant colours and textures in a completely urban style. Interiors are enhanced with bold details in bright colours and textures for a truly urban style.

  • Brass Relish, a coppery brown with unique grain pattern, blends perfectly with the colours and design features of the modern vintage style. This sleek, sophisticated colour embodies fine-grained sandstone. Brass Relish stands as the perfect base colour for copper, dark wood or dark coloured wallpapers. You can also go for bolder combinations in intense colours such as orange, green and blue.

  • The almost black and veined tones of Cinder Craze bring style, character and life to any industrial-style interior. A modern take on black sandstone. It is a combination of dark grain with white seashell veins. This colour fits perfectly with natural materials and textures while creating a nice contrast with bright colours such as orange and blue. It also goes well with light-filled spaces rich in plants and decorated with fabrics of varying densities.

Textures inspiring the Urban Crush collection

The new Urban Crush colours feature textures reminiscent of concrete, limestone, bronze and ash. In the same way that we are inspired when we stroll through the city, the underground tracks and the streets bursting with life and colour, we want to transfer this to our interiors with Silestone Urban Crush.

Seemingly understated, the pastel shades of the collection offer an industrial canvas, the perfect and natural match for pure and eclectic spaces. On closer inspection, however, the colours burst with an intensity that brings the spaces to life.

Urban Crush, manufactured with HybriQ+ technology to be more sustainable

This new collection is designed entirely with the new HybriQ+ technology for the environmentally conscious. Urban Crush is made through a more sustainable manufacturing process, using less than 40% crystalline silica in its composition, 99% recycled water, 100% renewable energy and a minimum of 20% recycled materials, such as glass, in its composition.

How to use the new grey shades of the Urban Crush collection

Thanks to the great versatility of these hues, they can be used on any surface and interior cladding, both in homes and in hotels, restaurants and shops. All this, together with Silestone’s technical features, makes it the highest performance design surface on the market.

For a cosy atmosphere, choose one of the warmer tones from the collection, Lime Delight or Brass Relish, and combine it with wood and fabrics in shades of terracotta and green.

Alternatively, if you are looking for a more sober look in cooler tones, we recommend using the colours Concrete Pulse and Cinder Craze, paired with glass, shiny metal and bright colours to lend a contemporary, urban style to your space.
