Cosentino’s Spanish Night in Penang Ignites Design Innovation and Inspires the Architectural and Interior Design Community
Kilang Besi, Penang, 22 June 2023 – Cosentino aims to ignite design innovation and inspire Penang’s architectural and interior design community with an enchanting Spanish Night event celebrating Spanish heritage, culture and exquisite design. In collaboration with fabricator partner Domos, the exclusive gathering took place at COEX @ Kilang Besi, Penang, attracting esteemed designers and architects from the region and reaffirming Cosentino's commitment to the local design community. Notable attendees included ALM Architects, Nevermore, Vault Design, Tamarind, and Berjaya Group.
Alvaro Gonzalez, Oceania and Asia Sales VP at Cosentino, shared his thoughts on the significance of Malaysia in the company's future expansion plans within the APAC Region, stating, "Malaysia holds immense importance in our company's future expansion plans within the APAC Region. Having already solidified our local team and investments in Kuala Lumpur, we are now ready to replicate our success throughout the rest of the country, with Penang emerging as our top priority.“
The Spanish-themed evening mesmerised guests with a delightful assortment of Spanish tapas, paellas, and fine wines, immersing them in a rich cultural experience. One of the key highlights of the event provided the Penang design community with an opportunity to explore Cosentino's latest collection and innovations, including the Dekton Pietra and Onirika collections. Full-size slabs were showcased, allowing guests to witness the extraordinary durability and resilience of Cosentino's materials through live on-site demonstrations. The surfaces impressed attendees with their exceptional scratch, fire, and heat resistance capabilities, showcasing the advanced technology and craftsmanship behind Cosentino's products.
