Bec and George Douros, much-loved former contestants on The Block, have taken on a brand-new challenge, transforming George’s childhood home into two three-bedroom townhouses. George’s Dad, Nick, designed and built the house in the 1970s, and the professional renovators have been documenting the journey on their eight-part web series, Nick’s Place, which features online on Nectaar TV and on Channel 9’s Ready Set Reno.

We’re now halfway through the season on Ready Set Reno and delighted to see Bec and George use Dekton by Cosentino® in the kitchen and bathroom. To celebrate the success of the transformation, we are giving one lucky winner a Tasmanian experience with two nights’ accommodation at Somerset on the Pier, dinner at The Lounge by Frogmore Creek, and lunch and wine tasting at Frogmore Creek Cambridge cellar door. The prize is for two people and valued up to $1300 (flights not included) *

To be in the running, make sure you’re following Cosentino and Bec and George on Instagram. An image will be posted on Sunday 6 August 2019 with the opportunity for you to win a Tasmanian experience. Here’s what you will need to do:

  • Follow @cosentino_aust, @becandgeorge and @theloungebyfrogmorecreek on Instagram or
  • Tag three friends in the comments section below the post on either Instagram or Facebook.
  • Describe, in 20 words or less, why you want to win a Tasmanian experience.

You have between the 11th August and 25th of August to tag your friends and write a comment, with the winner announced on the 21st of October. We’ll be looking for the most creative reason as to why you want to win a Tasmanian experience. For some extra inspiration, take a look at the beautiful interior of The Lounge by Frogmore Creek.

The relaxed and elegant bar and restaurant is located on the Hobart waterfront and it brings the exceptional wine, food and service that Frogmore Creek Winery is renowned for to Tasmania’s capital city. The venue is designed with a residential look and feel, to capture the feeling of a living room, but with an urban city edge. Dekton® Sirius benchtops and Dekton® Kelya cladding in the kitchen are both a deep grey-black, with Kelya having the appearance of natural marble with delicate white veining. The bar also has Dekton® Sirius benchtops but is clad with lighter Dekton® XGloss Blaze. The larger dining tables have Dekton® Trilium tabletops to provide the desired urban city edge. Dekton® Trilium is a mix of deep grey, black and rusty tones with rich, complex and beautiful imperfections reminiscent of oxidised stainless steel.

Make sure you’re following Bec and George and you could be the lucky winner to experience The Lounge by Frogmore Creek in person.
