The kitchen is the heart of the home and a place to make memories, and this kitchen is living proof of that. This homeowner was looking to remodel their kitchen, which is the hub of their house and a center for all things entertainment. A busy family with four kids that cooks and entertains on a weekly basis needed durable and functional materials.

Alice Benjamin Interiors, the design firm behind the space, was inspired by a classical and timeless look with plenty of warmth that married with the existing floors and updated family room. She and her clients were looking for the best materials in the industry, and that’s how the journey toward Dekton began. The homeowner was looking for a material that was functional, beautiful, and with little maintenance. After comparing dozens of materials, they selected Dekton because it was the only man-made material that looked so realistic, natural, and warm.

Dekton Arga was used in the kitchen countertop and backsplash, a unique color inspired by the quartzite of the Taj Mahal. From the Stonika collection, Dekton Arga features a smooth cream backdrop with subtle brownish-gold veins to create a hyperrealistic structure with a dazzling sheen.

The stone also carries up around the window and stove, giving the space continuity and creating a visually harmonious atmosphere.

Another crucial aspect of the success of this project was partnering with Luxury Marble & Granite, an installer with extensive experience working with Dekton.

Now, this homeowner has the kitchen they always wanted, perfect to cook, host, and gather.
