Cosentino has opened its newest showroom in Adelaide, demonstrating its commitment to the Australian market. The brand-new showroom and warehouse provide clients and visitors with easy access to Cosentino products and expertise.
Cosentino undertook an extensive renovation of the 2000-square-metre site in Wingfield, 15 minutes north of Adelaide CBD, to create a showroom, warehouse and training centre that is as impressive, functional and innovative as its high-performance stone surfaces. Here, customers, architects and designers can view and select product for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, and architects, designers, builders and developers can receive training on new products, colours and best practice.
Three Cosentino brands – Silestone®, Dekton® and Sensa® – are displayed with a showroom gallery, warehouse viewing gallery, working kitchen and selections table. The wall-hung gallery in the showroom features the latest collections and colours from Cosentino, including Silestone® Eternal Natural, Dekton® Industrial and Natural collections and the four newest finishes in Sensa® Premium. These will be updated as new releases are introduced to the Adelaide market. The full range of Cosentino product is available for viewing in the warehouses.
A working kitchen in the showroom has an island bench clad with graphite black Domoos from the Dekton® Solid Collection, as well as Silestone® Calacatta Gold from the Eternal Range. Inspired by natural stone, Calacatta Gold reproduces elegant white marble with grey and golden veins. The kitchen provides visitors with the opportunity to see and interact with Cosentino’s high-performance surfaces in a working environment. Clients can also lay out their plans and other finishes on the selections table with sample tiles available for matching.
Upstairs, a presentation and meeting room provides space for Cosentino to host training sessions and workshops for stonemasons, architects, designers, builders, cabinetmakers and students.
The new Cosentino Adelaide centre opened in September 2018 to much acclaim. Approximately 200 people attended the event, including architects, designers, builders and developers, as well people from the kitchen, bathroom and stone industries. Cosentino has an open-door policy, encouraging members of the public and industry to visit the showroom, view sample selections and have a tour of the warehouse to see the full-sized stone slabs. The showroom is open Monday to Friday, with an extended sales team on Fridays working closely with customers and providing tours of the warehouse. This includes new additions to the Cosentino Adelaide team – account managers Joel Webber and Lisa Angove, architectural and design manager Paris Dean, and builder manager Leah Albanese – to ensure all clients and visitors are well looked after.
