With the opening of Hotel The Den, Den Bosch has a new hotspot. With 160 rooms, The Den, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel located in the Het Paleiskwartier, is now the city's largest hotel. Hotel The Den is a Marriott International franchise and operated by the Odyssey Hotel Group.
The stylish design reflects the historic water canals of the city with a 'touch' of Cosentino: Silestone and Dekton shine in the public sanitary area, the luxurious bathrooms and the bar.
Tribute to Den Bosch
Hotel The Den is distinguished by a modern, stylish design that reflects the city’s historic water canals. In addition to the water map of the city’s waterways (the Binnendieze) in the logo, you can see organic shapes and flowing lines throughout the whole hotel.
The hotel is located in the newest popular district ‘Het Paleiskwartier’ and connected to the pedestrian bridge ‘De Paleisbrug’ [The Palace Bridge]. Guests can walk directly into the city center. The name, Hotel The Den, is a tribute to the city of Den Bosch. “Hotel The Den brings together local culture and international allure,” says Melle van Uden, General Manager. “We want to honor the historic fortified city and embrace the local Burgundian lifestyle. We also want to introduce a new concept to Den Bosch, something modern and worldly that attracts international travelers to this attractive city.”
The lifestyle hotel offers stylish rooms, quirky meeting rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness center ‘The Movement’, two lively restaurants and three bustling bars. Particularly, the ‘Current Rooftop Restaurant & Bar’, a rooftop restaurant and a separate sky bar on the 9th floor. Absolutely a new highlight for the city of Den Bosch.
Silestone by Cosentino sparkles in the bar
HIP Studio and HomrisB8 interior and furniture designers consciously chose a marble-look design for the bar. In addition to choosing a beautiful and trendy look, Silestone by Cosentino was also chosen for its high quality. A hotel bar is used intensively and the counter must therefore meet the highest quality requirements. Silestone by Cosentino offers unique technical properties such as high resistance and hardness, ease of daily maintenance, high color consistency and an unparalleled beauty.
Water as a base
The design of the hotel and the choice of designs all coincide with the theme of water. It is a direct link to the water system for which Den Bosch is known for. The design and interior of the hotel was created through a good collaboration between the property owner Build to Built, HDVL Designmakers, HIP Studio and HomrisB8. The flowing lines and organic shapes of water are reflected throughout the hotel; such as on the film on the windows, and in the beautiful color choices in blue and green tones. Both in the public areas and in the stylish rooms and suites, the colors and shapes blend together seamlessly.
The Den is detailed with the highest quality finish and high-quality materials. That is why Cosentino’s high-quality material has been chosen. Besides choosing Cosentino for the bar, Silestone by Cosentino was also chosen for the luxury bathrooms and public restrooms. Furthermore, the reception desk was completed in Dekton by Cosentino, in the Domoos color.
Design of the rooms
The lifestyle hotel offers stylish hotel rooms. The modern rooms offer an oasis of comfort with king-sized beds, mobile key access, and an interactive television. The beautiful green and blue color palette reflects the water theme that flows throughout the whole hotel. The bathrooms are completely furnished with high-quality Duravit sanitary fittings in combination with Silestone by Cosentino washbasins, in the color Silestone Charcoal Soapstone. For more space and the best views, stay in one of the Junior Suites in corner of the hotel, with large windows overlooking the ‘Bossche Broek’ nature reserve and the city.
“Hotel The Den brings together local culture and international allure”.
