Luxury in a modern, minimalist design. A sophisticated mix of styles and functionality. That's how you can briefly describe this 160 square meter house, which was given character by Polish Mellow Studio. It's an eclectic space, in which seemingly different aesthetic motifs were boldly brought together.
When asked about the style in which she decorated the interior, the designer answers that it is "tame eclecticism." This translated into a thoughtful and planned combination of elements of classicism, harmonious minimalism, modest japanese, vintage elements and a fresh breath of Mediterranean design. It was in such a space that a married couple, who are consciously entering mature life, wanted to live.
The investors' dream was a house where they would be close to nature, find tranquility, but at the same time experience a breath of luxury and feel as comfortable as in a hotel. The house is located under the forest, in a quiet place, with lots of wood, stone and lush greenery all around.
The house has a total of seven rooms: on the first floor a living room was created with a kitchen and a guest bathroom. On the first floor, three bedrooms, a bath room and a laundry room were created. A pleasant aura was also built with a thoughtful range of colors. Warm, cozy sandy beige was enhanced by honey brown wood. The whole is complemented by gold accents and a fresh blue color.
“Bright interiors allow you to relax and interact beautifully with sunlight, and in this house there is plenty of it on all sides, thanks to large and tall windows” says Mellow Studio founder Aleksandra Apanowicz.
In the kitchen area, a beautiful kitchen island made of Dekton from Cosentino attracts attention. The kitchen and dining room are the heart of the house, this is where the household meets to spend time together. Cooking comfort surrounded by the best materials not only thanks to the resistant Dekton, but also to the unique fronts made of Niemann panels. Here it is really difficult to get fingerprints or greasy smudges, and this is due to the almost "magical" properties of these materials.
In the living room, on the other hand, the main role is played by a sofa, which the designer imported from Germany. Dekton found its application here as well - the super-modern mineral surface was mounted on the top of a vintage console, which was made from the sewing machine of the investor's grandmother.
The bathroom, designed in a minimalist style, using neutral colors without unnecessary joints and accessories, also fits perfectly into the concept of modern luxury. The ubiquitous Dekton is complemented here by Italian luxury but minimalist Fantini faucets, a whirlpool bathtub and Effe sauna. The whole creates a small , home spa.
