For the second year in a row, Cosentino was present at one of Madrid’s most iconic sporting events, the Mutua Madrid Open tournament held at Caja Mágica. In partnership with the Puntofilipino studio, the design of the Cosentino VIP lounge was used to showcase some of the colours of the Dekton Pietra Kode, Silestone Urban Crush and, for the first time, Silestone Le Chic collections.

‘A space designed to relax, meet and work in comfort, inspired by the stone roots of Cosentino products, in the colours of nature’, is how designer Gema Gutiérrez, founder of Puntofilipino, describes this Cosentino VIP area.

‘The Dekton cladding, as well as the bars and tables, also in the Pietra Kode finishes of this high-performance surface, act as their own design features, which can also be combined with the use of the new Silestone colours,’ she points out.

Three different spaces with a wealth of combinations

Thanks to the versatility of Silestone and Dekton, both brands brought their design, trend and sustainability attributes to the tournament. The powerful Pietra Kode collection, designed in collaboration with Daniel Germani, took centre stage. A veneered wall and display unit showcased all the colours in this range inspired by Italian marble.

The bar area, on the other hand, has been designed to be high in all its elements, with a four-metre long bar clad in the exquisite Silestone Parisien Bleu from the new Le Chic collection. A deep bluish tone with a strong personality, it was the perfect match for the textured Dekton TK05 Sabbia table tops.

Dekton TK05 Sabbia, from the Pietra Kode collection, was also used to clad a large 3.5 metre reception desk. The nuanced veins of this reinterpretation of Italian travertine add such beauty and aesthetic strength that the piece of furniture itself functions as a true sculpture.

To round off the space, three decorative columns with supports showcased the versatility of Silestone Urban Crush colours, giving the room a luxurious industrial feel and complementing the functionality of the rest of the elements.
