Cosentino arrives in Milan with revolutionary new releases and more!

Cosentino returns yet again as a surface industry leader, making its presence known at Milano Design Week 2024! The 62nd edition of the prestigious event offers a week filled with design, innovation and creativity!

Taking place from 15 to 21 April, the Milano Design Week features various designers, brands and enthusiasts from all over the world. With a wide range of programmes and happenings, it is a truly unmatched platform for designers and brands to converge, exchange ideas, and showcase their projects. Centred on the principles of circular economy, reuse, and sustainable practices and materials, the Fuorisalone’s theme: “Materia Natura”, seeks to foster a culture of mindful design, which Cosentino brings to life in an unmatched partnership.

Launch of EARTHIC® LAB X FORMAFANTASMA

The highlight of Cosentino’s time at Milano Design Week is the unveiling of a new collection under its latest surface category Silestone® XM - EARTHIC. The Earthic capsule collection has been created in collaboration with the globally-renowned designers Formafantasma, in an effort to raise awareness about the importance of design beyond mere aesthetics, as well as prioritising ethical production processes. Aligning with this message, the Earthic collection is made with Cosentino’s new surface Silestone® XM, made with Cosentino’s proprietary Hybriq+ Technology and a distinguishing factor of containing only 10% crystalline silica content. The Earthic collection was unveiled on the 16th, and featured at Cosentino’s exhibition booth, along with other beloved surfaces and installations.

Cosentino is also making its mark this year at the event through their exhibitions and showcases. With their 200 square metre booth, Cosentino is showcasing their main brands and its endless application possibilities; from wall claddings and flooring, to façades and bathroom usage. The booth will also be used to preview innovative collections across Cosentino’s portfolio of products set to launch later in 2024, including Silestone® XM Le Chic Bohème, an extension of the 2023 Le Chic collection. Additionally, Dekton® Ukiyo, a first-of-its-kind fluted surfacing collection, is also on display amongst the various other surface collections.

A variety of interactive sessions are also being held at the Cosentino City Milano, including an exclusive cooking show with influencers, as well as a press release to introduce the new edition of the “Let's Design” contest, an initiative promoted by Cosentino Italy wherein interior designers and architects operating in the country can dive deeper into issues related to the transformation of the home spaces. A “Design Talk” conference is also being conducted at Cosentino City Milano, featuring Italian interior design studio and trend lab ItalianBark, and Scandinavian designer Trendstefan.

All-in-all, the Milano Design Week has turned out to be a fruitful and exciting experience, having been the perfect platform to showcase Cosentino’s projects, as well as connect with brands and designers of the same likeness from across the globe. Through the various events and programmes held, Cosentino is able to not only leave their mark at the event, but also gain a more insightful look into the innovations and upcomings in the industry.
