Cosentino brings meaningful and sustainable design to life in Milano

Milano Design Week ended! The 2024 edition of the most widespread event in the world dedicated to design finished confirming it as the pinnacle of innovation, sustainability and creativity. Comprising Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone, Design Week beats all records again and was an absolute success. Aligned with both Fuorisalone’s theme: “Materia Natura”, (centered on principles of circular economy, reuse, and sustainable practices and materials) and the Salone’s focus on evolution and innovation as key concepts, Cosentino has experienced one of its best editions.

Not only due to the success obtained by EARTHIC® LAB X FORMAFANTASMA, the immersive installation that Cosentino showed at Teatro Gerolamo to introduce the innovative creation of EARTHIC® surfaces collection, recognized with Fuorisalone’s Technology special award, but also for the huge acceptance of its S.Project stand at Salone, and the high attendance of the Cosentino City events.

The 200 square meters Cosentino’s booth was one of the most praised of S.Project, the Salone’s exhibition devoted to design products and decorative and technical interior decor solutions. The company unfolded all its main brands 2024 novelties and showcased its large application possibilities from wall cladding and flooring to façades, furniture and bathroom uses.

Cosentino debuted in Europe innovative collections such as Silestone®XM Le Chic Bohème, an extension of the 2023 Le Chic collection within new Silestone®XM category. Also part of Silestone®XM is EARTHIC®, the series design in collaboration with FormaFantasma, and leitmotiv of the Fuorisalone EARTHIC® LAB installation. Also, the neutral carbon ultracompact stone Dekton® advanced its spectacular newest 2024 series and finishes at the same time that recovered most recent ones as the impressive Dekton® Ukiyo.

But Cosentino's Salone presence went much further thanks to the confidence of several habitat brands, Kitchen and Bath fabricators and home appliances companies that exhibited Silestone®, Dekton® and Sensa by Cosentino® applications in their respective stands. Companies such as Stosa, Doimo Cucine, Vezzdesign, Officine Fanesi Bizzotto Italia or Vela Arredamenti, among others, demonstrated the Cosentino’s products capability to create amazing kitchen and furniture design proposals.

Last but not least, the Cosentino City in Piazza Fontana became again the epicenter of the Milano events agenda. With regular “full house”, the showroom hosted different events such as an exclusive showcooking with the chef Francesco Aquila or the “Let's Design” contest press event. Also, the City celebrated an interesting “Design Talk” conference with the participation of ItalianBark, an Italian interior design studio and trend lab, and the Scandinavian designer Trendstefan, and was the venue selected by Spanish Kitchen Furniture Association (AMC) to organize its Milano Design Week event with the attendance of more than 50 Spanish industry companies.
