Dekton®, the innovative ultracompact surface created by Cosentino for architecture and design has been awarded by Architectural Digest Great Design Award. As a leading global design authority, Architectural Digest celebrates the very best of international design and innovative products in its magazine each month. To further elevate distinctive products in an increasingly crowded space, AD recognizes the best of the best with the AD Great Design Awards, curated with the publication's tastemakers, influencers and design enthusiasts in mind.
Among the winners in the kitchen category for the 2017 Great Design Awards: Dekton® XGloss in Halo and Spectra colors.
Dekton® XGloss Halo, a soft white hue married with a high-gloss finish, fits traditional aesthetics and sleek, modern spaces alike. A solid black with exceptional shine, Dekton® XGloss Spectra is a luminous and intense black color that lends a spectacular elegance to any project, whether used as a countertop, backsplash, or flooring.
"Just as Cosentino pioneered the development of Dekton as an extremely resilient ultra-compact surface, we've continued our innovation with a nanotechnology treatment that creates an extraordinarily luxurious, shiny finish on these Dekton colors," says Eduardo Cosentino, EVP Global Sales for Csoentino Group and CEO of Cosentino North America. "We're truly honored for Dekton® XGloss Halo and Dekton® XGloss Spectra to be recognized as one of the very best in kitchen design by a publication so esteemed by the design community around the globe."
Dekton® XGloss Halo, Spectra, and their fellow AD Great Design Winners from the kitchen category will be featured in the November 2017 issue of Architectural Digest, with expanded coverage online and across the Architectural Digest social media platforms.
Winners in the bath category were announced in April, where Silestone Marquina was also honored with an AD Great Design Award.
