Cosentino brings its new openings to Europe

• With an investment of 1.3 million euros, “Cosentino City Antwerp” reinforces the company's presence in Belgium.

• The showroom complements the commercial and logistical activity of the warehouse (“Center”) that Cosentino already had in Brussels since 2008.

• The company also opens a new “Center” in Poznań, and expands its network in Poland where it already had warehouses in Warsaw and Katowice.

Cosentino, global leader company in producing innovative and sustainable surfaces for architecture and design, moves to Europe its international expansion strategy based on its own commercial and distribution assets. After recent openings in Washington D.C., Boston, Seattle and Vancouver, the company resumes its commitment in Europe to its innovative “City” model with the new “City” Antwerp opening. With this showroom, first in Belgium, Cosentino now has 27 “Citys” around the world, and increases those located in Europe to 10.

“Cosentino City Antwerp” has involved a total investment of 1.3 million euros, and is located at Kloosterstraat 96, just south of the Antwerp downtown, in a renowned neighborhood full of design studios and antique shops. After its implementation in Belgium in 2008 with the opening of the “Cosentino Center” in Merchtem (Brussels), the showroom involves an important qualitative leap in being able to serve the architecture and design community of the city, and the rest of the country also.

In its near 500m2, the showroom exhibits the innovative philosophy of this Cosentino spaces, designed to offer architects, interior designers, designers and end-consumers the opportunity to appraise the company's wide range of products and solutions, through of its brands Silestone®, Dekton® and Sensa by Cosentino®. In addition, the “City” is a hub of inspiration where both professionals and individuals can propose any type of comprehensive project through the different tools of the showroom.

The inauguration event held last Thursday, under the "Between Desert and Sea" concept, with the attendance of more than 100 clients, collaborators and A&D professionals from Antwerp. On behalf of the company were present Pedro Parra, VP of Europe Sales; Johan El-sayyid, General Manager of Cosentino Belgium; Alicia Bremmers, Cosentino Belgium Marketing Coordinator; and Charlotte Larose, Cosentino City Antwerp Manager.

New “Center” in Poland

A few days before, the company also inaugurated a new “Center” in Poznań (Poland), which joins the warehouses that Cosentino already had in Warsaw and Katowice. It reinforces its distribution and service capacity in a market with high growth in recent years and with great projection. The new Cosentino Center Poznań has an area of 4,000 sqm, of which 400 sqm is for offices and showroom. It will be able to accommodate up to 4000 records and starts with an 8-person team of professionals.

More than 200 guests, including representatives of design studios, furniture manufacturers and owners of stonemasonry businesses, as well as partners, friends and employees of Cosentino Poland, attended the opening. Special guests at the premiere were renowned architects Tomasz Pągowski and Jakub Szczęsny. General Manager of Poznań Center is Andrzej Wlodarczyk.
