Bright, innovative and inviting, LUMA shines a light on the best of modern hospitality and illuminates guests with dynamic energy and an independent spirit. The ventilated facade entrance showcases 900 sqft of Dekton Edora below glass windows and metal studs and framing. The Dekton color chosen was the cream color Edora for its simplistic elegance. Comprised of 1.2cm and 2cm thickness, the facade cladding welcomes guests before they enter Luma’s sleek, sophisticated lobby.

Reflecting the ambition and allure of the city, the hotel is situated among developing tech firms, and fashion houses, as well as steps away from New York City landmarks and attractions. LUMA Hotel’s ground floor houses acclaimed, James Beard Award-winning Iron Chef Jose Garces’ latest NYC restaurant Ortzi, taking its name from the Basque word for sky and inspired by the region’s great tradition of tapas.

Advantages of Dekton application in façade cladding:

Dekton allows a uniform design to be created, making all the walls of the building appear clad in a single covering. Qualities such as its high resistance to ultraviolet rays, its resistance to frost and thawing, its color stability and high stain resistance are essential properties for its use for exterior facades with these characteristics.

In addition, Dekton ventilated facade serves as the primary layer in protecting critical building components from the elements
