Curtain walls are an important part of the skyline of many modern cities, balancing natural light and views with structural finishes and spandrel elements that add to the materialilty of the façade. Dekton is a perfect opaque cladding option for these self-supporting combinations.
Description
In curtain walling applications, Dekton panels can be incorporated into traditional or ‘stick’ systems with mullions and transoms, or into unitized modules consisting of larger pre-assembled units.
Dekton can be fixed using structural silicone glazing (SSG systems) or held in place by pressure plates screwed into the mullions or unitized framing elements (Captured systems).
