A virtual tour of the new Cosentino Ottawa Showroom
Cosentino is continuing to expand in the Canadian market with the opening of its newest showroom and distribution centre located in Ottawa. The 3,200 square foot design centre is a one-of-a-kind for the region. It features a sample room, a space for continuing education and events, and various surface installations including an outdoor kitchen concept showing Dekton’s outdoor capabilities and a ventilated wall façade display.
We’re heading to our nation’s capital where Angel Luis Garcia Hernandez, General Manager for the Cosentino Ottawa Centre gives us an exclusive tour of this new innovative space.
What can design professionals expect when visiting the showroom?
Our Centre is more than just a showroom. The open-concept space showcases Silestone, Dekton and our natural stone offerings throughout in various applications such as countertops, flooring, facades, wall and furniture claddings, vanities, Integrity sinks, etc.
What sets the Ottawa showroom apart from other industry showrooms?
We only carry Cosentino products. We are one company and one supplier, with many possibilities. Our competitors typically carry several brands from different companies. We sell to our trade clients who in turn, bring their designs to life with homeowners. We also have an adjoining warehouse that enables visitors to view full slabs, allowing them to envision their project’s designs with the real slab and not with a small 4”x4” sample.
Why was it important to have a showroom in this location?
Strategically located in central/east Ottawa, the new location provides increased sales and distribution opportunities demonstrating Cosentino’s continued commitment in the Canadian market. The showroom is a hub for Ottawa and the surrounding region with easy access to major highways and the Quebec border. It’s a great area that is convenient for many customers. They can use our showroom to close the deal and show slabs to their customers to help them imagine their spaces with these beautiful designs.
What are the showroom hours?
The Cosentino Ottawa Centre is open for business Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. We are open for drop-ins, but highly recommend booking an appointment when looking for specific colours, so that we can ensure they are available to preview. We’re located at 903 Ages Drive #1.
We’re taking all of the necessary precautions with respect to COVID19 including limiting capacity to ensure social distancing, implementing the mandatory use of masks, and sanitizing surfaces daily.
