Recommended Tools and Cleaning Agents
Cement remover or acid de-scaler (buffered acid cleaner).
Organic solvent or acetone for traces of silicone, epoxy and adhesive.
Low speed rotary cleaning machine suitable for discs/pads of different hardness, according to requirements. (Do not use paint strippers)
Mix the acid product with water (according to the manufacturer) and spread the mixture on the floor. Leave to work for a few minutes and then rub with a rotary machine with a specialized pad.
Remove all the residue (preferably with a wet-dry vac) and rinse with plenty of water. For heavy or stubborn dirt, repeat the same procedure with a higher concentration of the product.
Perform the same operation with wax-free, neutral detergent. Proportion the water and detergent according to the manufacturer. This step is important so that the surface is free of any residue.
For daily cleaning, scrub the floor with soap and water. If stains persist, you should use more aggressive products or other cleaning equipment.
Dekton Floor Care & Maintenance
Private areas – Low traffic
For daily cleaning of interior floors use a wax-free, neutral soap cleaner.
For outside areas such as patios and swimming pools or large indoor areas, cleaning them with high pressure hot water or any of the above machines, with neutral soap is recommended. If necessary, you can also use diluted bleach.
For good and effective maintenance, we recommend monthly cleaning with high pressure hot water (wherever possible) and neutral soap. You can also use diluted bleach if necessary.
Public areas – High traffic
Cleaning high traffic areas should be done daily using an automatic floor scrubber with fibre discs. Wax-free, neutral soap should also be added.
The type of maintenance will depend on the amount of traffic and the specific surface application.

Chipping normally occurs accidentally in much-used areas (e.g. under-surface sinks and dishwasher area) where they can usually be repaired. This can be done by your trusted marble supplier, who will use the right products to repair them.
If you are looking for a more professional repair, you can contact expert companies such as: https://artus-instandsetzung.de/es
Cracks on the surface can't usually be repaired, because even if they are repaired, they will continue to grow so the repair will be short lived.
In this case, you should inform your trusted marble supplier, or the company that installed it, so that the joint can be re-made and the cause rectified.
