The new countertop in the classic kitchen in the large, old Frederiksberg apartment from the 20th century is not Maria Harmuth's first Silestone... and there was little doubt that Silestone was at the very top of the wish list, as the idea of brightening the relatively dark kitchen, which was in the apartment when it was taken over at the end of 2022, sprouted.
This is not Maria Harmuth's first kitchen renovation: “In our old flat, we experienced how easy it is to have Silestone in the kitchen. It withstands almost anything and is really easy to clean, so why choose differently this time?”
A real stone feeling
“Silestone gives a real 'stone feeling' - and despite the fact that it is not natural stone, the edges have a degree of detail which gives the expression a little extra.” Maria Harmuth has chosen a new design from the Ethereal collection, which is among the first to be produced with the innovative technology, HybriQ+, based on 100% renewable energy, 99% recycled water - and a new formula of exclusive minerals and recycled materials.
The aim of the new technology has two sides – partly the unwavering focus on sustainability and partly to improve the product's expression in color and 'feel'. And yes, it can actually be felt. The new Silestone is 'soft' in expression - and, according to Maria, actually easier to clean than the previous generation.
And then there is the zink... which is the icing on the cake: “We have chosen a hand-built, tailor-made kitchen sink, which is just as easy to keep clean as the worktop itself - and which makes everything merge into one whole. And unlike brass and other beautiful materials, it shows no signs of wear.”
“Silestone Ethereal Glow adds warmth to our kitchen and has a long-lasting look that fits the atmosphere of the apartment so well.”
“Silestone Ethereal Glow lights up our entire kitchen - and is a worktop that we can see ourselves with for many years. And it is even easier to clean than the Silestone worktop in our previous kitchen.”
