The Garden Table delights at famed Gardens by the Bay
Designed by Colin Seah, the Garden Table featuring Dekton Umber sets the stage at the Spanish Serenade with Sunflowers this October at the Flower Dome, Gardens by The Bay.
In collaboration with the Embassy of Spain and the Spain Tourism Board, A Spanish Serenade with Sunflowers is a floral display which takes inspiration from the region of Andalusia in Southern Spain, highlighting cities of Seville, Granada, Malaga, Jaén and Córdoba. Cosentino takes pride in being a supporter to this month-long cultural festival which includes Andalusian arts and culture like the quintessential flamenco dance.
Through the whole month of October, visitors are treated to a stunning and colourful display of Sunflowers and other popular Spanish garden blooms like pelargonium, and petunias that is reminiscent of a Spanish courtyard garden. Not forgetting the olive trees that have shaped the Mediterranean world which symbolise a culture stretching back a thousand years.
Setting the stage in the Mediterranean Garden amongst the verdant landscape, sits The Garden Table with its terracotta trowel-textured top evoking warmth and cosiness. Designed by local tastemaker, Colin Seah, this limited-edition work desk with a huge personality features Dekton Umber from the latest Kraftizen collection. It is in this garden setting that Seah’s Garden Table completes its poetic journey which encapsulates our desire for change as we rethink our priorities at home – renewal, transformation and humanity in design.
