The new Dekton® collections, Cosentino City Milan agenda or participation in some of the most outstanding installations at Fuorisalone, examples of the success of Cosentino's proposal at Milano Design Week.
In the return to the "new normality" with all the force of previous years, the Milano Design Week has reaped a success of participation. Only for the Salone del Mobile that takes place in the Rho Feria Milano venue, it has received last week the visit of 262,000 people from 173 countries. Meanwhile, in the city, the Milanese authorities calculate an influx of more than 400,000 visitors to enjoy the offer concentrated both in the different showrooms and shops in the Downtown, as well as in the Fuorisalone actions.
In this context of re-imagination, Cosentino has once again stood out in the key areas of the Week, announcing its latest and long-awaited launches this year both at the Fair and at its City of Milano, receiving a multitude of clients and professionals from the five continents, and participating in some of the most acclaimed installations at Fuorisalone.
The Cosentino Booth at S.Project not only served to attend and organize meetings with visitors to the fair, it was also the perfect setting to make all the professionals who came to the stand aware of the two main launches of the company this year: the impressive Kraftizen and Onirika collections of the ultracompact carbon-neutral Dekton® surface.
These novelties were also presented at Cosentino City Milano. Located in the heart of the city, the showroom hosted a daily agenda of receptions for clients of the company, and events such as the verdict of the “Let's Design – Design in Dekton®” Contest with the presence of Joe Bastianich, Cosentino's new ambassador in Italy, or the exclusive introduction of the new Scondido washbasin collection signed by the Dutch designer Remy Meijers and made from Silestone® Sunlit Days neutral carbon surfaces.
Finally, Cosentino products covered different Fuorisalone projects. One of the most visited was the Divided Layers installation that the furniture manufacturer Kholer, in collaboration with the designer Daniel Arsham, presented at Palazzo del Senato. Onsite, the brand created an exclusive café experience for guests, collaborating with Cosentino to fit the space with Dekton material in Kelya and Kreta colors. At the main tradeshow location, Salone del Mobile, Kohler debuted new, innovative luxury products with nods to wellbeing and immersive experiences in the brand’s booth experience, which also included Dekton material in Opera color.
For its part, different Silestone® Eternal (Marquina and Calacatta Gold) and Ethereal Noctis surfaces, as well as Dekton® Laurent and Trillium colors, were displayed at the Hotel Melía Milano Masaccio within FRAMES, an immersive installation designed by the studio Vittorio Grassi Architects. And as in previous years, presence was repeated at Masterly – The Dutch in Milano, where Dutch designers, artists, artisans and companies occupy the Palazzo Francesco Turati with their designs. This year, Cosentino Netherlands team once again collaborated with the industrial manufacturer Pillen Group within its proposal for outdoor kitchens.
