Cosentino Hosts Miami Art Week 2023 Experiences Celebrating Dekton Ukiyo

Miami Art Week is one of the most influential art and design events of the year, hosting over 20 art fairs and more than 1,200 galleries throughout the city. This cultural happening attracts thousands of art collectors and buyers, art lovers, brands, designers, celebrities, and more. This year, Cosentino had the honor of hosting two events to showcase its latest collection, Dekton Ukiyo designed by Claudia Afshar, during this once-a-year festival.

Ukiyo Moon: A World of Enchantment

In collaboration with Cosentino, Claudia Afshar designed Ukiyo Moon, an artistic venture with AI Designer, Vojtek Morsztyn, inspired by the Ukiyo collection. This one-night experience hosted at the Cosentino City Showroom in Miami was designed to embody an ethereal world that transports you to a serene, moonlit oasis where stillness prevails. The design features subtle aquatic textures that dance in moonlight’s embrace, evoking surreal beauty and making living the moment an art form.

Guests heard opening remarks from designer Claudia Afshar, Patty Dominguez, VP of Business Development at Cosentino and Victor Garcia, Cosentino City Manager. During the evening, attendees enjoyed the immersive experience while dancing the night away in great company.

Design Miami Tour & Luncheon with Luxe Interiors + Design and Benjamin Moore

Guests kicked off the morning with a curated tour of Design Miami alongside Kohler where they got a first-hand look at the Kohler x SR_A’s Limited Edition Formation 01 Faucet. Afterward, guests headed to Miami Beach for an intimate luncheon at the lush garden of Casa Tua with Luxe Interiors + Design. The event highlighted the Dekton Ukiyo collection with beautiful table centerpieces during the lunch. Additionally, Claudia Afshar worked together with Benjamin Moore to share a Designer Edit card that showcased ten paint colors that match up perfectly with the five Ukiyo colorways.
