Tell us a bit about yourself.
After graduating from the University of Western Ontario, I moved to Toronto to attend the International Academy of Fashion Merchandising & Design. I started my career in fashion and quickly moved to real estate, feeding my love and appreciation for architecture and sales. From there, I worked in marketing, customer experience and sales through contract seating, luxury lighting and fabric. All these wonderful experiences led me to this exciting role at Cosentino.

What makes you a great fit for the Cosentino team?
I enjoy connecting with people and helping customers source solutions. I find this part of the job to be very rewarding. I believe that a company’s showroom is the hub of the brand experience – a place to build strong relationships with our sales teams, our A&D accounts and industry partners by leveraging our incredible space and everything it has to offer.

Why do you love working for Cosentino?
I love Cosentino’s dedication to sustainability and commitment to the environment, which resonates with the way I live my life. The company is truly leading the industry, offering the most innovative and sustainable products available on the market. Cosentino consistently launches new products with diverse applications, creating endless possibilities for both indoor and outdoor spaces. The company’s constant innovation gives our team the ability to offer our customers many options.

Take us through an average day at the Cosentino Toronto Showroom.
There really is no “average” day. At our City Showroom, we assist homeowners and industry partners (designers, architects, builders, general contractors, fabricators, etc.) in selecting the perfect colour options for their projects (in various stages). Some individuals come in to simply get inspired, while others come in to finalize decisions. It’s common for designers to use our space to meet with their clients to work on their projects. We also often host Lunch & Learns, PKs and special events for the local A&D community.

What can design professionals expect when visiting the showroom?
The Cosentino Toronto City Showroom is all about customer experience. Our space is unique in that we give designers a place to be inspired and collaborate with us to uncover the ideal solution. We’re always available to help determine the needs and project requirements while introducing our brands and latest collections. We have the biggest City Showroom in North America (close to 10,000 sq. ft) with several large format slabs on display, including a rotating Silestone gallery, and an atelier. Various applications of Dekton, Silestone and Sensa can be found throughout, including countertops, flooring, façades, furniture cladding, bathroom sinks and shower trays, and much more. Although we send samples home with visitors, physically being in the showroom really helps to envision what the different applications will look like in a finished project. It’s really a sensory experience with the ability to touch and feel the different surface options available. We are often the first contact with customers about our brands, so it’s our job to educate, build trust and execute our expertise to help them find the ideal surface solution for their project.

What is the showroom location?
The Cosentino Toronto City Showroom is conveniently located in the Castlefield Design District at 665 Caledonia Road. The area caters to industry professionals and the public alike. This unique industrial part of the city is an interior design lover’s dream! We’re open from 9 am-5 pm ET Monday to Friday, and no appointment is needed.
