Cosentino’s display at the 2019 Interior Design Show (IDS) in Toronto proved to be an inspiring showcase of surface design for attendees. Held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the show ran from Jan 17-20, 2019. Cosentino launched new colours and collections from Dekton and Silestone, and unveiled the new revolutionary ultra-thin thickness Dekton Slim format.Cosentino at the 2019 Toronto Interior Design Show

During the opening night party, Cosentino hosted a VIP cocktail reception in their booth for esteemed customers, designers and members of the media. Cosentino executives attended the event including Eduardo Cosentino, EVP of Global Sales & CEO of Cosentino North America; Massimo Ballucchi, Executive Director of Marketing for Cosentino North America; Philip Eeles, Regional Director of Distribution for Cosentino Canada; Brandon Calvo, VP of Sales at Cosentino North America; and Patty Dominguez, VP of A&D Sales.

The next day, the IDS show floor was officially open.  Cosentino launched two colours, Brooklyn and Silver Lake, part of the new Silestone Loft Series, a sophisticated collection offering a unique take on the industrial and architectural look of concrete. Also making its Canadian debut was Silestone’s Eternal Noir, a colour offering inspired by natural Sahara Noir Marble.

 Cosentino at the 2019 Toronto Interior Design ShowAlso introduced, the new Dekton STONIKA Collection comprised of six alluring hues, draws inspiration from the most coveted natural stone materials and is finished with spectacular shine and unrivaled durability.

Finally, Cosentino displayed their revolutionary Dekton Slim format with an ultra-thin thickness of 4mm. Slim combines the superior technical and mechanical features that Dekton is known for with a new and much thinner, lighter and manageable format for installation.

The company also received the Silver Award in the 601-sq. ft. and above category for Best Booth Design. This is the fourth consecutive year of winning a Best Booth Award. Juried by an esteemed panel of judges, the IDS Booth Awards acknowledge excellence in exhibit design. Cosentino designed the award-winning booth at their headquarters in Almeria, Spain. The booth showcased new colour releases from both ultra-compact Dekton and Silestone natural quartz surfaces in various applications from flooring and countertops to fireplace cladding and ventilated facades. Large format slabs were displayed in a lit runway-like setting, allowing show attendees to preview the look and feel of the new state-of-the-art colours.
