Canadian Cosentino Centres kick off new Spring 2016 colours with ‘A Taste of Dekton’ colour launch events

The Toronto and Vancouver Cosentino Centres celebrated Dekton’s latest colour additions at the ‘A Taste of Dekton’ colour launch events held on June 9th in both cities. The events brought together design media and influential members of both Vancouver and Toronto’s design communities for the exclusive previews.
Several new colours were on display throughout the evening including Dekton’s new XGloss Series, a high-gloss, highly-reflective innovative surface. The XGloss Series is now available in a wide variety of sleek colours, including their recently launched Natural Collection. The collection is inspired by natural stone and was featured at both events.
Trilium, the newest colour to be added to the Dekton Tech Collection, had designers particularly eager with its unique textured colour. Trilium captures the look of oxidized stainless steel with hues ranging from deep grays and blacks with rusty undertones. Trilium is manufactured from materials recycled from its own production process and is the first Dekton colour to use recycled materials in its manufacturing process.
Those who attended the Toronto event enjoyed the opportunity to listen to an engaging talk given by leading Toronto based designer and Silestone Trendspotter, Theresa Casey. Casey spoke about her involvement with the development of the Silestone Influencer Etching Series (Ink and Aquatint) – also unveiled during the evening. Casey Design Planning Group Inc.
