Cosentino, awarded in the "Frank Memelsdorff Design and Business" category.
The award ceremony took place yesterday in the cultural centre, Matadero Madrid.
The Cosentino Group has been recognised in the industry. This time it was at the 6th Biennial Latin American Design Awards (BID '18). This event is organised by the Madrid Designers Association (DIMAD) in collaboration with institutions and companies that support a design approach with people in mind, as opposed to objects. This year saw the 6th edition of the Biennial, with a brand-new edition of the BID Awards coinciding with the event's 10th anniversary. A total of 20 prizes and 35 honourable mentions that acknowledge initiatives and projects where design has created the capacity to transform, creative and cultural value, and the possibility of offering solutions to different problems.

"Frank Memelsdorff Design and Business"

It was in latter category that the international jury and the organising committee behind these awards acknowledged the Cosentino Group for "incorporating design as a key part of its strategy and conveying the development of new ideas, products, services, spaces and experiences through effective communication". The award ceremony took place yesterday (Monday) in the cultural centre, Matadero Madrid - where the Biennial's headquarters are located. Representing Cosentino was the Manager of Cosentino Madrid, Jose Luís Calleja, who attended the event and received the prize.
