The Cosentino Group at the Milan International Bathroom Exhibition 2018

The Cosentino Group will attend the International Bathroom Exhibition, part of Milan Design Week 2016 (12th-17th April), with its innovative collection designed exclusively for bathrooms. This biennial event is an unmissable event for manufacturers and professionals in the bathroom industry.
The Cosentino Group will attend the International Bathroom Exhibition together with a luxury collaborator, the prestigious Canadian design studio Cecconi Simone which has created a spectacular stand (Pavilion 22, Stand G32) over 120 m2 for the Spanish multinational. Through the “Travel with Cosentino”, concept, the space symbolises the internationalisation of the Cosentino Group and the adaptability of its products to any country or climate.
The stand’s design is divided into four spaces or vignettes: a Parisian apartment, a Balinese garden, a London loft apartment and a typical Toronto house, showing the different applications of Dekton® ultra-compact surfaces and Silestone® quartz surfaces. These spaces show that Cosentino products can create magnificent spaces whether they are urban or rural, indoor or outdoor, emphasising the products’ versatility and adaptability to different styles, be they elegant, refined, luxurious, avant-garde or minimalist.
In each of these contexts, the Cosentino Group presents its innovative bathroom collection that succeeds in re-inventing this space thanks to the custom-made large format concept. Silestone® and Dekton®, thanks to their physical and mechanical performance, can be used to make a whole bathroom from the same material, giving each space great aesthetic integration and continuity. The large sizes in which Silestone® and Dekton® slabs can be made reduces the number of joints necessary, making for a cleaner, more hygienic bathroom.
Thanks to their extraordinary technical performance such as their excellent water-resistance qualities, Dekton® ultra-compact surfaces are the perfect choice for worktops, surfaces and any other bathroom covering.
At the Cosentino stand there will be two spectacular Dekton® wash basins in colours from the new line of high-tech polished surfaces, Dekton® XGloss, characterised by their spectacular shine and awarded with Red Dot Award for Best Product Design 2016. Dekton® is also the material chosen for several types of coverings, including in particular the coverings of the two impressive designer bath tubs, Also using Dekton®, Cosentino presents its new shower concept, «walk-in shower», the benefits of which lie in its ground-level installation, facilitating access for people with reduced mobility, and in the aesthetic feel created by its large size and spaciousness.
Silestone®, Cosentino’s world-leading quartz surface, also plays a main role in this exhibition through the creation of a bathroom space made entirely from the material’s Blanco Zeus colour way, which is the best seller in the history of the material. Visitors to the space can experience the beauty, depth and spaciousness that Blanco Zeus creates.
Silestone® have been on the market for over 25 years and remains unique in its technical performance and its range of over 90 different colours and three different finishes that adapt to any design, creating exceptional and especially attractive compositions.
Cosentino Bathroom Collection
The complete Cosentino bathroom collection has six shower tray models: Freccia, Bubbles, Doppio, Kador, Kador Suite and Exelis, certified as low-risk for slipperiness to the German DIN 51097:1992 standard, and eleven wash basin models: Armony, Balance, Basic, Simplicity, Equilibrium, Symmetry, Elegance, Nova, Reflection, Silence and Exclusive.
All of them are available in the complete Silestone® colour range, including the sustainable, environmentally-friendly Eco line of Silestone®. Regarding Dekton®, currently only the wash basins from the collection are manufactured, and they are available in the 30-plus colours that make up the Dekton® colour range.
