Celebrating the launch of Pietra Kode with Daniel Germani in Cosentino City Montreal and Chicago

Cosentino City Centers in Montreal and Chicago were the backdrop for two very special Pietra Kode launch events in which the designer of the collection, Daniel Germani, was a special guest.

Cosentino was honored to host interior designer and architect, Daniel Germani, at Cosentino City Centers in Chicago and Montreal to celebrate the launch of his newest Dekton collection, Pietra Kode. Daniel joined renowned guests including industry tastemakers and media to showcase his latest collaboration with Dekton, Pietra Kode, which reinterprets the timeless beauty of classic Italian stones: Vicenza, Travertine, and Ceppo di Gré.

Germani began in Montreal where he had a full-day lineup of meetings with top customers and media, followed by an evening cocktail reception at the Cosentino City Montreal for the launch of the collection. Among the prestigious Canadian publications, he met with included Mixte Magazine, La Presse, Intérieurs, and Ça Parle Design. When asked by La Presse, one of the most important French-language newspapers of the region, which color of the Pietra Kode collection was most like him, Germani shared, “This one, Ceppo, because it is the most irregular. I find that flaws are often what give character to an object and make it interesting. This is also true in all aspects of life. I find perfection boring! I have many faults, but I live a beautifully imperfect life. All the experiences I’ve had - good and bad, and more bad than good, have taught me what I know today and have shaped me. In this stone, there are more or less big fragments of stone. It is also a beautiful metaphor for society. Everyone contributes to the beauty o the whole, no matter whether they are rich, famous, powerful or not. When we do good, the whole is benefited.”

During the Montreal reception, Germani had an engaging conversation with Mixte Magazine’s ambassador, Alexandra Gutheier, and shared more about the journey of how this collection came to life.

Traveling to Cosentino City Chicago, Germani joined the Cosentino team for their local launch event which welcomed clients and media. Here, Germani had a dynamic conversation with Shannon Sharpe, Home Editor, LUXE Interiors + Design where they talked all things inspiration and design. Later, Germani mingled with guests and enjoyed the beauty of Pietra Kode slabs in person. Additionally, PITT Cooking presented delicious desserts to attendees that were displayed on their beautiful kitchen unit that showcased PITT burners atop Dekton Pietra Kode’s Marmorio.
