Cosentino Celebrates Silestone’s Evolution at Canadian Showrooms

It’s been an incredible year to say the least for Cosentino with the company launching two major Silestone collections, the introduction and roll-out of their exclusive HybriQ technology, and a major rebrand for the Silestone line. In celebration of these milestones, each Cosentino showroom across the country held their own The Silestone Evolution: Inside and Out event on August 12. The architecture and design community along with partners and friends of the brand attended the event held in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, Winnipeg, and Vancouver.

Attendees were treated to live entertainment, delicious Spanish-inspired cuisine and beverages, along with a look at the latest launches coming from the Silestone brand. Each location also had a mood board station where attendees could create their own designs using different fabrics and textures as well as new colours from the Silestone Sunlit Days and Ethereal collections.

There was an excellent turnout at each location with the celebrations being some of the first in-person events held at the showrooms since the onset of the pandemic. Each event offered the perfect platform for the A&D community to finally reconnect and preview the latest to come from Cosentino, including the following:

HybriQ and HybriQ+ Technology

HybriQ+ technology represents a new formula used in the composition of Silestone, which significantly reduces the presence of crystalline silica, while achieving great sustainability levels both in the composition of the product and in the manufacturing process. This new hybrid formula combines as well, raw mineral materials and other materials of recycled origin. With this unique composition, the outstanding mechanical and technical performance and timeless beauty of Silestone remain intact.

Silestone’s Sunlit Days Collection

Sunlit Days was first launched in Canada on June 7th. Sunlit Days is a collection of five colours inspired by the shades and nature found in the Mediterranean region. The series offers a journey through light and colour, with fresh style and a nod to tones of the Mediterranean, inspired by human values and simple yet profound ways of living. Faro White, Cincel Grey, Arcilla Red, Cala Blue and Posidonia Green are more than just the names of these five colours. They are individual tributes to the stories, experiences, expressions and ways of life of real people who have found their true essence through the Mediterranean.

Silestone’s Ethereal Collection

Ethereal was launched in Canada on August 3rd. This marble-inspired collection consists of four colours: Ethereal Dusk, Ethereal Haze, Ethereal Glow, and Ethereal Noctis, designed to recreate the dream-like beauty of the sky. Each shade offers a deep, fine veining on a white foundation. The launch for Ethereal was also strategically aligned with a significant marketing campaign titled 'Metamorphosis' featuring international fashion icon Cindy Crawford.
